Shipping Information - Shop Only

Items from the Fabled shop section of our website are shipped within 7-10 days from your order. All items advertised in the shop are available for immediately shipment.

General Shipping Information

Shipping dates for each month begin at the 20th of the box month. Our boxes are shipped in batches and while we do our very best to get them out the door quickly it may be up to 10 days before all our monthly boxes have been picked up.

Delays at ports and through customs can result in delays. Book authors and publishers can also experiencing delays because books publishing schedules change or there are unexpected delays.

We do everything we can to minimise these delays and build buffer periods into our planning so that delays affect boxes shipping on time as little as possible. That said there is only so much we can do to stop delays. We are so grateful for your continued patience during any delayed periods.

Here are a few general things to note

  • Our items are shipped via USPS Media Mail.
  • We are able to change the delivery address of your order if needed up to two days before the 20th of the month. You can change your address for an existing order any time up to this point by emailing us to request it. Please note that changing your address in your account does not change it on any paid-for orders, including subscription renewals.

Lost, Missing or Delayed Parcels

Still waiting? Most late parcels arrive within 5 business days of their expected delivery date. If the delivery is taking much longer than we expected, there are a few things worth checking before we begin an investigation.

Things to check

  • Tracking: If your item was sent using a tracked service you can track it to check the status.
  • Complete a Help Request Form
  • Submit a Missing Mail Search Request: If after 7 business days from when you submitted your online help request form your mail or package hasn't arrived, submit a Missing Mail search request with the following information:
    • Sender mailing address
    • Recipient mailing address
    • Size and type of container or envelope you used
    • Identifying information such as your USPS Tracking number(s), the mailing date from your mailing receipt, or Click-N-Ship® label receipt
    • Description of the contents such as what it is and the brand, model, color, or size, if applicable
    • Pictures that could help us recognize your item

What happens next?

When we receive your Missing Mail search request, we will send you a confirmation email. We will also send you periodic updates about the search.

If we find your package or mail, we will send it to the address you provided. Please note, sometimes we cannot find missing mail items. It is also possible that your package or mail will not be recovered because it was not safe to forward.

What happens if my box cannot be found?

File a Claim

If your mail or package included insurance, you may be able to file an insurance claim. For damaged or missing contents, we recommend filing a claim immediately, but you must file no later than 60 days from the date of mailing.
